CrossFit is CrossFit Mantra's core strength and conditioning program. We have designed our program to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible.  We will scale our training to you - to meet your fitness level, needs and abilities.

CrossFit Mantra CrossFit Kids

Not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, our CFM Kids program is CrossFit geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population.  Mantra Kids is the principal strength and conditioning program for many young athletes and the primary P.E. program for many home schools, and charter schools.  Mantra Kids workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general and scaleable for any participant at any level. Our program is divided up based on age, skill level, and athletic ability - initially, kids are divided up based on age: 5 yrs to 8 yrs, and 9 yrs to 12 yrs.

CrossFit Mantra Teen Sports Performance

Taylored to athletes ages 13 to 16, our CrossFit training for young athletes helps athletes enhance speed, quickness, power, endurance, flexibility and agility, while reducing the risk of injury.  Our goal is not to see which teen is the strongest or fastest, but to improve each athletes musculoskeletal strength and cardiopulmonary/cardio-respiratory level, so that they can be the best they can be.

Mantra Barbell Club is focused on the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. The sport consists of two lifts: the snatch, and the clean and jerk. Weightlifting builds power, speed, balance, and coordination to your overall training, while increasing explosive strength and explosive output.  The Barbell Club program is designed to focus on the technique and mechanics of these lifts, while increasing overall strength over time to deliver results.  This speaks to any individual who wants to compete at the national level, the athlete who enjoys Weightlifting as a recreational sport, or the athlete who wants to hone in their lifting skills for faster and more efficient CrossFit workouts.

ROMWOD

ROMWOD is for everyone! This program was designed by CrossFitters to address the number one limiting factor of all athletes, their range of motion! But range of motion is not an issue that is present only in the gym. Range of motion limits everyone, and whether you are trying to get into better positioning in your overhead squat or you just want to sit on the floor to play with your children, ROMWOD is the answer that your body needs to open and free your joints.

While our group CrossFit classes are designed to meet the needs of our large and varied community, when it comes to achieving specific goals, nothing beats private coaching.
 
Personal Coaching is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals, assess your movement, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, increase strength, improve technique, prepare for an event, or just prefer in a more personal setting, an individually designed program equates to faster results. Coupled with our group CrossFit classes, we will make sure that you meet your goals.
 
Personal coaching is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health limitations, or just prefer the additional attention and accountability.
 
Your private coaching experience will be tailored to your specific needs, and may cover a number of areas including:
 

  • Mobility exercises to improve and restore joint range of motion
  • Skill-based warm-up to prepare for specific movement patterning
  • Strength and conditioning exercises chosen to specifically achieve your goal
  • Post-workout recovery techniques
  • Nutritional guidance

CrossFit Mantra Yoga

CrossFit Mantra is very excited to offer CrossFit Mantra Yoga, which is open to members and non-members alike. Lead by Christina Caruso, our yoga program is a great way to begin improving your fitness and can help make good athletes better. The CrossFit Mantra yoga program is designed to improve your flexibility, balance, muscle endurance, and kinesthetic awareness. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or new to the yoga scene, our yoga classes will make you a better athlete by improving your overall strength and mobility.  Yoga sessions are free for CrossFit Mantra members and available to non-members in packaged rates.

CrossFit Mantra Running Club

We want you to get the most out of your running, whether it's training for a personal best in an upcoming race or running with the kids on weekends. The CrossFit Mantra Running Club is committed to helping you reach your fitness and running goals. As with CrossFit, our running club uses a variety of training, including light running days, long endurance runs, CrossFit Endurance training, speed training, sprints and rest.  Recreational or competitive: we've got it all and the miles go by easier with friends.
